At Nüssli118°, all of our products are made with sprouted, or “activated”, nuts and seeds. We soak our nuts in water for 4 to 12 hours to jumpstart the sprouting process and reduce their naturally occurring phytic acids, tannins and enzyme inhibitors. This increases the vitamin content and makes them more digestible. To complete the process, we dehydrate our now activated nuts and seeds at 118°F to preserve their living enzymes, while also yielding a delightfully crunchy texture.
